Any tips on how to get rid of the hiccups?

My family gets them often and we have no clue how to stop it.

Please help.

Well, what I do is get some water, hold it in your mouth (don't swallow it), tilt your head sideways so the water goes onto one side and stay like that for 20 seconds. Each time you hiccup, restart. (:
That's kind of my way I do it, I know it's kinda silly, but it works for me (:

Don't have your mouth open, do your best to keep it shut. If you can't, pretend to hiccup in between. Those help me

This always works for me~
Get a spoonful of sugar
some water
go to the sink and turn the water on so its just dripping slowly. put the spoon full of sugar under so its wet. (make sure it doesnt dissolve)
then eat the sugar in one gulp and drink a glasses of water :)

Thank you! I'll try that the next time I get hiccups (mine went away an hour ago rofl)!

Drink 7 shallows of water with holding your breath. This helps me a lot.
