A Passion For Music Ch.1

Intro:
The idea of this story came from my good friend Adi. On the chatbox..she said "writing her music" so that popped right into my head. Anyways, this story is about a girl who is 14. She has a passion for music..but I shouldn't say the rest! Read this if you want to figure it out.. (;

Chapter 1;; Gone
I lean to the computer and adjust my glasses. "Alright. Here goes nothing.." I say. I pull up Microsoft word, and I start writing my, 'Winter Semester Essay' I forgot to mention...I go to boarding school. My family is very lazy. They think public school is very expensive..so they sent me to..surprisingly..FREE boarding school. Now..back to my essay. I look down at the keyboard and squint. Apparently..all the letters on the keyboard look like big blobs. I then lean to it so close..it makes my head hurt. Now..I'm getting started. 'Yes..It's the time of year again, winter.The holidays start..the forecast is cold all week..and presents get built by santa and his elves. Today is Decem..' I then stop. I look up to the computer screen and see..that nothing is on the page. I start typing again from the start..nothing shows up. I get worried. Why I'm so worried..is because I'm on a laptop. I just got this last week..and my parent's said if it acts up..I'm not getting a new one. I look into my computer settings to see if it's protected or not..it says..'Scanning' that's bad. It only scans if I'm on a weird website. The only site I've been on..wait a minute...the only thing I've been doing for the whole week..is typing my homework on Microsoft word..and check my email. I scream. I run downstairs to tell my parents and..no one is there. I check in my sister's bedroom..she's not there. She's usually there listening to her iPod..or picking out clothes for the next day. I peek into my parent's bedroom..no one. I check in the kitchen....no one. I look all around the house..in the laundry room, garage, dining room, and even the attic, (where I'm not aloud to go in) I'm so panicked..I walk through my WHOLE ENTIRE neighborhood..and knock on all the people's doors I know. I call all of my family's cell phones and on all of them..I get a busy line. I call where my parent's work..and they are off for the week. I call all my sister's friends..and they have no clue what I'm talking about. Tears fill my eyes.. I finally reach my house..and now you find myself upstairs..in my bedroom..crying. I hear the doorbell ring. I pop up with excitment and butterfiles in my stomach. I cross my fingers and whisper to myself, "Please be my family..please be my family.." I open the front door..and..apparently..it isn't my parents. It was a man who looked to be about..in his 50's or early 60's. I sniff..and he smells like he hasn''t ever taken a shower before. The man says hello, and I say hi back. "I'm here to ask you-" he says. I interrupt him. "Uhh..excuse me for a second.." I say. The man nods. I run upstairs and I start crying again. I scream at the top of my lungs, "WHERE IS EVERYONE!!!???"
