A short story written by Jenni ;3

Tuesday, October 18, 2003
It's a chilly night here in Falls County. I'm sitting in the field by a tree in the park, writing in this journal to.. myself, basically.
Well, I'm wearing skinny jeans, a t-shirt and a sweatshirt. I have nothing to do, but I had to escape from my parents.
My mom was constantly screaming at me to do anything and everything for her, and my dad just sat there cause he didn't want
to interfere with my mother on a rampage. So I, Julie, did what I always did, and just left the house
with my journal to the park and to this exact same spot.
I come here quite often, just alone besides this tree and light near me. I sit and write and sing and hum to myself.
No one knew where I went except for my best [and only] friend, Samantha (or Sammy), who comes with me
occasionally when she, too, has to get out of her own house.
But there's not much to do. You just sit and watch as the fireflies move in the cold light and your own warm breath disappearing into thin, chilling air.
Something about being here all along doesn't frighten me, but rather calms me.
I have all the time in the world to just think. So here I am, just another night like this, stranded.
I begin walking home and after I'm out of the path of the park, I look down to the wrist to see my sister's bracelet that she gave me 5 years ago, gone. It was my most prized possession and it'd break my heart if I lost it.
I immediately began dashing back to the tree and searching.
I looked for a half an hour, but it wasn't there.
I sighed, as tears began rolling down my cheeks.
It was the last thing I had from my sister, and it was gone.

i like it..some eerie feeling when reading it. :3
its an amazing story..just thought the "bracelet" part, should have been mentioned earlier in the story. :3 lol

An amazing start..!!!!
I really love it, jenni, and yeah, I would love to see more of your writing like, TheNights, cause it's amazing.
