ll The Friendship Bracelet Chapter One ll

Chapter 1
The First Day Of 8th Grade
“Clara! Get your butt down here, now! You’re going to be late, if you’re not out here in the next five minutes!” My mom yelled angrily. I still couldn’t decide which jacket to wear, so I just grabbed one of my cardigans and rushed out my bedroom door, spinning back to grab my backpack, then running down the stairs. “I’m here!” I yelled grabbing my lunch box. “Let’s go.” My mom said sighing in relief. We still had some time to spare, thankfully. I approached the school yard right as the first bell rung. “Bye mom! Love you!” I yelled across the schoolyard while walking backwards. Just then, I bumped into someone. “Girl, you better watch it!” The person said, defensively. “Sorry…” I said turning around. “Oh my gawsh, Cherri!” I said screaming excitedly. “Girl, I’m so glad to see you! Plus, have I got news for you. You know how all four of us are always on the cheer team? Well I heard they have a new captain on the team this year, Massie.” Cherri said in her usual sassy voice. “Girl, you be kidding?” I said trying to imitate her sassiness. “Not even. Come on, let’s get to class, we’ll talk about this at lunch with the girls.” She said as we walked into the school.

omg i was like about to say I miss ur stories adi but then i saw this topic. :3
