New Rule Idea

I think that there should be a new rule added:

You must post at least two sentences on ANY topic and if you don't.... well I'll let the mods and admins decide that if they do this

Like for example, usually when someone makes a post saying "____ was just promoted to a ____!", everyone says something short like "congratz ____" and nothing else. This annoys me... and also on like post before admin posts its usually just "#" and nothing..

So yeah what does Guest think of this idea?

I like the idea! Cause you should add something else that's maybe special about them along with the word congrats. I like it! Hopefully the mods will accept that!

And then people start having a go at eachother on game threads because they don't post enough.

I agree with Test.On some threads there is nothing to say apart from like a sentence or three words.If I said like my picture,there would be nothing to say apart from Yeah,it's cool or no it's rubbish.

True.... maybe one sentence, or any amount of words? Lol and as libby said sometimes its hard.. guess i never thought about it like that.

Not a bad idea. It will be random though to like say "#4. yay us! Yay you" or soemthing but it it pretty good. Good job, emy.

agree with test, it's fine as long as it's not one word, because if it was just one worded post that'd be considered fluff; and it wouldn't really matter if it annoyed you if they didn't do this idea because it's the staff's choice

I dont agree. Sorreh! 2 sentances is alot, and some people on the post before an admin, it would be akward to be like
100. Yay were going close. Dont post staff!

A long time ago I put I agree, not so much now cause I saw everyone's post. Mostly for like games and stuff, WHAT IS THERE TO SAY!!?? (Sorry if that sounded rude) I agree with Test and everyone else.

I think one sentence is enough especially if you like playing games there are posting in games that you have to make two sentences and the sentences have nothing to do with the game cause you can not think of anything to say

Nope, I don't agree, 2 sentences or 1 is still too much, My sentences are always really long because I prefer using commas instead of full stops, Plus, It's hard to think of something to say when you've got nothing to talk about.

I actually agree, I just say like you need like a full sentence. Sometimes I dont even use a period > . so yeah. lol
but i do love ur idea but i guess test has a point it could be long for some of us! and we may have to go off-topic..well idk haha but yeah

I think 2 sentences is a little much, because you might not have a lot to say.

I always say over 2 words and it is ok maybe not 2 sentances but i get your idea just maybe shorten it a little

laugh out lond i guess but it's kind of silly because, well . . . i understand it makes you annoyed but lets hear what the adminters say

I dont like this idea.
I mean really, we dont count fluff posts, and it doesnt matter. So what if it annyoes you? it doesnt annyoe a lot of people. we cant change something just because you dont like it

I think it's a good idea to have at LEAST 1 sentence. Honestly, i'm hypocritical for saying this (i've done fluff posts Dx), but i do think it'd be a good idea because posts don't have so much feeling in them.

For example--
One person makes a super long post about how they won a cool contest the other day. They're so proud of themselves.

EVERYONE says, "Congratz" "Cool" "Awesome!" "that's nice", etc. Does it make the author of the thread feel very special? It seems like they didn't really pay attention and are only posting for themselves and not to actually congratulate the author for winning the contest,

If you said something likee... "Wow!! You're so lucky! Congratulations! I bet you did such a good job on that contest and the judges thought your entry was extra special. We're so happy you won because you deserved it!"

Wouldn't that make them feel a little more special :3 ?

and people only post so they get more posts, half the posts in outside chat say '100th Post' or '1000th Post' and it bugs me people are bothered about their post amount.
