Chapter 3

"I-I could use a little help?" She said half questioning herself, half questioning me. "Well, I guess we could stick together, I don't do well alone." I said giving her a small smile. Running away may just have been the best thing i've ever done! "Come on, we should get started on some shelter, I have no idea how long we may be here." I said giggling. I loved it when I led things better than people older than me! So, we spent the rest of the day hauling around branches, twigs, and dry grass to start a fire. By the end of the day, we had a smallish hut done. It was pretty strong and woven good. "So, what'd you run away for?" I asked Mariah, curiously. "I ran away because I just couldn't take life in that place anymore." She said bluntly. "Oh." I said wishing I had never asked. We all would wanna put something like that in the past. Have I just made a new friend?

This is pretty well done and I LOVE the color somehow. Lol. I love the story too. Can't believe I didn't post anything after I read it the first time. :).
