To cut out a charrie -

1. Take a picture of you in BABV on a SOLID COLORED background, otherwise it will not work well.
2. Open the picture of you on Gimp. Than go to Layers>Transparency>Add Alpha Channel
3. Click the Magic wand tool (It looks like a stick with a little yellow spark at the top) then click the parts you want cut out, then press DELETE on your keyboard.
4. Save it as a PNG. or it will NOT be transparent.

To put a your person on a background -

1. Take the background you like and open it on GIMP
2. Than go to File>Open as layers and open a TRANSPARENT (that means cut out) picture of you.
3. Use the move tool to move it where you want

Than its done! :) Hope I helped!
