I don't mean to sound rude at all, just to let you know.
I believe that it's wrong to have a whole section for BP buttons and yet we can't post links to our sites even if we have the button on there. It's not right to expect free advertising. If we post a link to our forums if we post a button, you get the advertising but we don't get any new peeps cause we can't post it on here. This kind of thing doesn't work out in real life, so why teach a bad life lesson?
And I refuse to post a button on my site unless this is changed.
This may sound negative, but it's true. This is my opinion;

Thank you for your opinion, but BearvillePlace's rules are possibly like most sites. We do not want people to join just because they think they can advertise their websites on this forum. Most sites also apply this rule to their guidelines. At the moment, BP only sponsors sites that are:

-.com's
-Active
-Are associated in any way related to Build-a-Bearville.

We only have one website which is a forum which we sponsor, as they have a link on their forum for ours. It is an active, .com website which is good to join.

Also, we don't beg you to put links onto your site for BP. People can find their own way to this forum.

As Testo said it's for diffrent reasons.I also remember on another forum about a year ago someone came from a link on another forum and with them the link was nt for the website it was for soemthing else which shall not be named.

And you don't have to go all out.It's for your saftey that they don't put up everyones links.Test spent alot of time working on this forum.And personally I think it's perfect the way it is.
