Warning & Alert: BABV Scam E-Mail!

IDK if this is the right place to post, but I just want to alert you.


Apparently, there has been another E-mail going round to some people, on other forums. A lot of people got it. Here is what it said:

In Build-a-Bearville we are doing a beary new Safety Check partnering with Safety Online! Our job is to keep all of the Build-a-Bearville user's accounts secure. For this, we need your help. We will need to ask you for information in order to keep Build-a-Bearville a fun, safe, and clean place!


The information you need to reply back with:
Build-a-Bearville Username:
Password:


Remembear: Reply to vwHelp@live.com with the information filled out above. We will not change your password. Thank you beary much! If you do not reply until the end of April, you're account may be disconnected.

This is just a scam to get your items, so do NOT, under any circumstances give them your BABV name & password! This is just from a hacker, so delete the E-Mail if you got it.

I didn't get this E-Mail, I just copied it from another site to alert you.

I will know if I get this email that it is not BABV. I can understand how this email fooled many people, at first when I heard about the scam emails, I thought it was be something very ridiculous, like 'give me your pass and name, and I'll make you V.I.B, give you a million bearbills, and unlimited store credits.', like most of the scam messages are, but now I see that the message was quite 'well done' and 'professional', but now I know why so many of you were sucked into this scam. -_-

I got the email in April. I hate hackers/scammers! What's the point of that anyways? Build--Bear NEVER asks for your password either so do not answer this email!

I am so dumb for not realising. I got that email and sent a reply with my user and pass and now all my good stuff has gone. :[

I did not get this e-mail. But, I did hear it from another forum. I really do not like hackers or scammers. Build-a-Bearville would never ask for your password. Also, that is not Build-a-Bearville's e-mail address. It is supposed to be 'vwhelp@buildabear.com'. Thank you for warning us about the scam, =]
