how do you make a avvie and siggie

hey guys you probaly don't know me because i'm new and i'm wondering how to make an avvie or siggie got any ideas what's the best way to make one ?

Well, first start off with an image, for example maybe a babv character. or a pic like your avatar right now.
save it on to paint, or -print screen- a pic, paste it into paint, and save it. << ( BTW click here if you have a mac comp. [:
then upload it on a program for editing graphics, the easiest one to start with [and what i started with] is picnik. ^_^

edit it and put all sorts of text and stuff.. ^_^
and save it at the end when you like how things are.
And upload it at tinypic [easiest]. ^_^

This goes for avvie's and siggie's.
However remember in the rules these are the largest sizes:
Avatar- 200x300
Signature- 500x250

It's probably confusing how I explained it but maybe someone can elaborate on what I said, and maybe you'll understand. ^_^
